A deep immersion in the ancient Way of Zen
Ever since the time of the Buddha mindful communities have gathered together in the rainy season to deepen personal practice and study dharma.
This 6-day residential retreat takes place in a beautiful forest on the shores of pristine Loon Lake, nestled in the mountains near Vancouver, BC. The retreat will be led by Zoketsu Norman Fischer and Mountain Rain Zen Community resident teachers Myoshin Kate McCandless and Shinmon Michael Newton.
This retreat is also the culmination of the 2014 Practice Period and concludes with a Dharma Inquiry Ceremony in which shusō Kanshin Ruth Ozeki answers a question from each participant.
